Day 2

DAY 2 - Lookit all this stuff!
A better view of our ryokan.
Everyone flipped out on the bus seeing this. It was closed by the time we got there yesterday, but todayyyyy...
Hello there sirs!
Yesssss, yeeeeessssssssss
After the Jump Store, it was off to the arcade!
Pachinkos.
After that bit of free time, it was now time to take a bus tour around the area. This guy looked pretty kew.
A gate surrounding the Emperor's Palace. No word on the state of his groove yet.
Some nerds at the gate.
Our next stop was Tokyo Tower. Apparently it was made to mirror the Eiffel Tower, but slightly bigger.
An incredibly handsome man. And a tour guide. The tour guide is also incredibly handsome.
Most of us super happy to be in the small elevator goin up. Most of us.
The view from about halfway up the tower.
A little robot that roamed the floor asking if people needed to scan their passes or charge their devices. C'mon America, catch up.
Finally it was dinner time. We decided to try an "American Styled" place. It's mainly grease and carbs, so they actually got pretty spot on.
Melon soda to finish off the day! ...I learned that they don't have free refills the hard way.

Day 1

DAY ONE - The Departure and Beginnings

The view coming into Japan. Wound up making friends with a young Japanese guy that sat next to me on the long, LONG flight over there.

Orientations! We met here to discuss the rules of the lodgings.

Right outside our ryokan! Lotsa stuff to do right nearby~

Some nerds.

Breakfast! We have something like this everyday to look forward to. As someone who usually only eats like one bowl of cereal, this is a big leap!

Trip introduction

Currently, I am in Japan for my school's study abroad program! I'm here for two weeks, and it's great because I've always loved the culture and have always wanted to come here! (Plus I'm a huge nerd)

Anyway, it's only recently that I've been able to get internet access, so I am taking the opportunity to go ahead and post my photos from the trip so far. I'll keep this updated as much as I can now, so stay tuned!
